Shell seeking calls of support

Letter to Western PeopleDear Sir, I note Mr Gerry Costello's letter of March 1st, in which he says that Shell ''should have listened much more closely to local concerns in the past and would welcome the opportunity to show that we are serious about listening properly in the future''.

I was also interested to read that Shell claim that they have received many telephone calls to their office from people who support their scheme to install a dangerous experimental gas pipeline through North Mayo ( Western People, March 01, 2006 - Locals want Corrib work to resume: Shell).
It seems therefore that Shell would welcome calls from people who may not be so enthusiastic about the Corrib Scheme. The telephone number for Shell's Erris Office is 097 83955, and that of their Corporate Headquarters in Dublin 01 669 4100.
