Shell to Sea at World Social Forum

Hey all from the revolutionary process of Venezuela.

Today me and Tracey did a very successful presentation of the issues, history and demands of the Shell to sea campaign at the World Social Forum to an audience of around 100 people from various countries including Chile, the US, Venezuela, Brazil, Australia and many other countries. There was a great discussion and lots of contacts were left for the campaign. The idea was suggested of an international day against Shell and multinationals destroying the encv, health, people etc. Great discussion on issue of natural resources, why the people should benefit, how to beat the multinationals and overthrow govts and linking up campaigns internationally. Great day really i think for all in the shell to sea campaign. One guy from venez said at the end that its great to see t hat social struggles exist in ireland beyond the religious ones!!
