Ryan Turbidy who has a radio show on RTE1 9am Monday - Friday is running an item called the Irish Phenomenon of 2005. The Rossport Five have already been nominated on several occasions by callers/texters etc. The nomination can be a person or an event. See web link below for details.
If enough people nominate the Rossport Five they will be included in the shortlist. There will then be a poll of listeners to select the top person or event of 2005. This is very good free publicity for the Rossport Five.
