The Rossport Five have accused Mayo County Council of being a 'mouthpiece' for Shell. They made the comments through a spokesman after a meeting with members of the council.The men are spending their 9th week in prison following their refusal to abide by an injunction preventing them from interfering with Shell`s construction of the Corrib gas pipeline.The councillors say the wish act as a negotiating channel between Shell and the men.
