Rally for jailed fisherman Pat O'Donnell at Castlerea Prison, Sat 27th March, 3.30pm

Court on Thursday:

The 19 people who had cases outstanding had their charges either dismissed or dropped. 

Judge Haughton ruled that Eoin Lawless had been "unlawfully detained" by Gardaí and dismissed his charges.  Due to this, another 8 related cases were subsequently withdrawn by the State.

Tuesday

Niall Harnett jailed for 5 month in relation to the assault of 3 Gardaí.

Niall Harnett was also banned from driving for 2 years and fined 400 euro for blocking trucks travelling to Glengad

James McBarron found not guilt of trespass with intent and obstruction.

Monday

Paul Lynch found guilty of obstruction of traffic on May 18th and told to pay €200 to the local tidy towns committee within 1 month.

Maura Harrington found not guilty of obstruction of traffic (Section 9 of Public Order).
