Award-Winning documentary, The Pipe, which chronicles the personal and community strife caused by the controversial Corrib gas project, will be shown on TG4 at 9.30pm tomorrow night, Wednesday, February 9.

Internationally applauded, Richie O’Donnell’s film received a standing ovation when it premiered at the Galway Film Fleadh last Summer. Among the many local residents featured are Pat O’Donnell (The Chief), Willie and Mary Corduff, Monica Muller and Maura Harrington.
Four years in the making, this documentary tells the story of a small community which has taken on the might of Shell Oil and the Irish State.
Meanwhile, An Taisce, is set to hold a public meeting in Belmullet about its proposed Judicial Review of the recent An Bord Pleanála decision granting permission for the last section of the pipeline. The event will be held at 7pm in Áras Inis Gluaire, Belmullet, on Friday next, February 11.
